GIVE YOURSELF GOALS:  WITH A VISION TO WORK TOWARDS
Monday; January 21, 2019
Then the LORD replied: "Write down the revelation and make it plain on tablets so that a herald may run with it. For the revelation awaits an appointed time; it speaks of the end and will not prove false. Though it linger, wait for it; it will certainly come and will not delay. Habakkuk 2:2-3
TODAY’S CHALLENGE – CONQUER YOUR DOUBT! As you think, so you are. Whatever you think you can do, whatever you think you can become, whatever you think you can have, is yours. Unless you doubt it. Your thoughts have the power to become reality, only to the degree they are free from doubt. Your goals, minus your doubts, equal your reality. It’s a very simple equation. When your goals are strong and highly focused, and your doubts small by comparison, that leads to success. If your doubts are bigger than your goals, watch out! To conquer doubt, we must act as if there is no doubt. Of what use is it to repeat your goals every morning, then spend the rest of the day living as if they will never be a reality? Doubts are strong and persistent. You can’t simply THINK them away -- you must ACT them away. Follow your goals with action. Act as if you have no doubts. That action will eliminate the doubt, and, as it happens, lead to the fulfillment of your goals. Action is the key that conquers doubt and turns dreams into reality. Start walking, and you’ll know, without a doubt, that the journey is possible. Because it has just become so.

Psalms 23:  The Lord is my Shepherd [to feed, guide, and shield me], I shall not lack. He makes me lie down in [fresh, tender] green pastures; He leads me beside the still and restful waters. He refreshes and restores my life (my self); He leads me in the paths of righteousness [uprightness and right standing with Him—not for my earning it, but] for His name’s sake.
GIVE YOURSELF GOALS:  WITH A VISION TO WORK TOWARDS. I know that we are working on goals – visions – plans – dreams – and purpose but today I was led to Psalm 23. And I had to take a break to renew my strength and to regain the clarity that is needed – the confidence that is mine and the competence I know that I have within me to accomplish all that God has placed before me. Because this is not going to be done in my power but through the power and might of my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ – through God Who with Him all things are possible and with the leading of the Holy Spirit that dwells within me. Verse two of Psalm 23 says that the Lord makes us lie down in a good place, and He leads us where it is still and restful. For the last month I have been struggling because I have not held on to this word. Do I know the scripture – I sure do! I learnt it when I was in Sunday School like many of us, but, in my time of struggle and trials, this was – the word that I needed. And, I forgot about it. Today, I truly thank God, not because the situation has changed, but because I have finally found the secret of being able to walk though a difficult place – it is to follow the Shepherd to that restful place in your spirit that, no matter how difficult the circumstances surrounding you are, – He can give you perfect peace. Today, I truly thank God, not because the situation has changed, but because I have finally found the secret of being able to walk though a difficult place – it is to follow the Shepherd to that restful place in your spirit that, no matter how difficult the circumstances surrounding you are, – He can give you perfect peace. Thou wilt keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on thee: because he trusteth in thee. Isaiah 26:3
Today I leave you with this thought:
I'm learning more and more to trust that God has my best interests at heart and that everything He does is for purpose and by design.
