KEEP YOUR VISION STRONG: EMBRACE IT WITH ALL THAT YOU HAVE
Saturday; September 22, 2018
Then the LORD replied: "Write down the revelation and make it plain on tablets so that a herald may run with it. For the revelation awaits an appointed time; it speaks of the end and will not prove false. Though it linger, wait for it; it will certainly come and will not delay.” Habakkuk 2:2-3
TODAY’S CHALLENGE – YEAH IT SEEMS LIKE ONE MORE -THEN ONE MORE – But you can make it – you can achieve it – just keep believing it. What if you knew that just one more obstacle stood between you and the success you desire? Would you do anything necessary to get past that obstacle? At some point in every achievement, the final hurdle is reached. Yet all too often that hurdle is never crossed. Too many people simply give up, just one challenge short of the goal. What a shame it would be to come so far, and not go the distance. Somewhere ahead of you is the final obstacle. When you work your way around it, you’ve made it. Is the challenge you face right now, the final one before everything starts to fall into place? The only way to know is to get yourself on the other side of it. One thing is for sure. Each hurdle you cross will get you nearer the success you’ve worked so diligently to achieve. Keep pushing yourself forward. Do whatever it takes. You’ll soon leap over the final hurdle and land right where you want to be.
KEEP YOUR VISION STRONG: EMBRACE IT WITH ALL THAT YOU HAVE. It is okay to remember the past – but in remembering the past – you don’t have to continually look back or reach back and get it – come on let’s get past the past and move forward and KEEP YOUR VISION STRONG AND EMBRACE IT WITH ALL THAT YOU HAVE. While the backward look should be searching and realistic, it should also be brief, for as I read somewhere - "It's difficult to climb a mountain looking back." A quick glance over our shoulder is good, for it will sober us and remind us of why we are moving forward with such a great determination. Remembering the past can remind us of God's leading, discipline, faithfulness and grace. But it should not cause us to walk backwards into the future. A thoughtful glance back can prepare us to more confidently look and move forward. Looking back, I am overwhelmed with Your faithfulness, Father. It prepares me to confidently move forward, knowing that You are there. I look to You, Father, and to Your strength to learn from the past and grow in the future. We have the promise of His constant presence. We may not always be aware of His presence but by faith we know that He is there. And that is enough to know. Lord, You know what is ahead for me. I don't. But I do know that You are with me and will be with me tomorrow. Though called of God we are reluctant instruments. We know too well our failures and weaknesses. Surely, we are mistaken to think He has called us. Praise His name, it is in our weakness that He gives strength and uses us! Today ask yourself this - How would your life change if you could take charge and get what you want in your life? What would it mean to you? To your family or loved ones? To your business and income? To your social life? To your sense of accomplishment and success? KEEP YOUR VISION STRONG: EMBRACE IT WITH ALL THAT YOU HAVE
Seek the LORD and his strength, seek his face continually. 1 Chronicles 16:11
